In an article from The Canadian, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association have done a study where most pet owners buy what their pets wants, not what it needs. The age of a pet also dictates the type of food it needs, as older cats and dogs have different requirements than a puppy or kitten.
